I do miss out on the superior feeling Gen4 grip and the slightly milder recoil from the thicker slide and barrel however the lighter fat and sense of the G30S for me much more than would make up for it...My guess is that the Gen4 G36 continues to be a ways away because they did not just get it done with the Gen4. Tells me the slide for the Gen4 36
